Data Processing

There is nothing more sensitive than your clients data. For many years Cheque-Mates have been involved in high security data processing starting with cheque processing and personalization of billions of dollars per year over a decade ago. Our expert team can manage your data and take data in many different forms. Cheque-Mates still have not witnessed input data that we can’t utilize and transform into a Multi Distribution solutions to cut costs and increase revenue for the mail generator.

We focus on generated automated purpose built solutions for end generators which we like to call Business Process Automation. The aim here is to decrease risk, remove manual entry and increase cashflow and information efficiency.

Bulk Mail Processing

Bulk Mail is what Cheque-Mates are here to produce.

We are extremely proud of our Bulk Mail Partner (BMP) Accreditation with Australia Post. This enables us to handle all of your Bulk Mail risk free. We are the Trade Only expert in Bulk Mail and have the capability and capacity to handle all of your client’s mail requirements, whether its ten million or five hundred items Cheque-Mates is the right company to partner with.

Our core expertise is in showing you how to maximise your postal discounts, open your mind up to other delivery methods and get your bulk mail delivered to your client’s customers doorstep, in the most cost effective and time conscious manner.

Australia Post picks up directly from our door step twice daily ensuring mail is distributed as soon as humanly possible. We also have the facility for after hours and weekend pickups if required.

Bulk mail can be standard letters, parcels or a plastic wrapped article, no matter which is the preferred option. We are the only place you need to call. “We are the true one stop shop for Bulk mail".

Our secured premises are covered by back to base alarm monitoring so you can be secure in the knowledge that your Bulk mail is in safe hands.

Folding

Cheque-Mates have extensive intelligent online and off-line folding capacity in all sites. Stock types are not an issue at all with our Industrial Folding systems. With the latest digital folding devices to market on our floor we are able to literally fold while you wait. Setup times as low as 2 minutes provide for great flexibility for our partners. We can assist with all sizes from A5 all of the way up to A3. Some of the folds we perform are roll folds, cross folds, gate folds, Z folds and half folds. Laser Printing and Inkjetting

Cheque-Mates have invested heavily in the latest Xerox laser printing technologies to make your Transactional and Promotional documents stand out. We focus on bringing these two market sectors together by merging together marketing and finance departments of medium and large organisations to split costs and form relevant marketing messages to the end recipient on the transactional pieces. Commonly known as Transpromo we have seen great results of case studies of this technology that we would be happy to provide advice on.

We process on the latest Nuvera Emulsion Aggregation mono laser printers with both MICR encoding functionality and all possible finishing available to you, our partner. These Nuvera’s print at a rated speed of 17280 A4 images per hour. The latest Xerox software, firmware and controllers are used on all printers, bringing the latest possible efficiencies to our Valued Partners.

We have the ability to process 1,000,000 A4 images per day when required and can also process sizes up to SRA3, Gloss Stocks and up to 300gsm in stock weight.

Cheque-Mates have seven dedicated online and offline inkjet systems capable of personalising anything from a DL postcard, to a carbonless set, to a book that is 1 inch thick. All can personalize through various inks and drying systems on to gloss and bond type stocks. We personalise things like modulus numbering sequences, 3 of 9 and 128 barcodes as well as standard Four State Barcode and addressing requirements.

Scanning and Imaging

Cheque – Mates are not new to Scanning and Imaging

We use market leading technologies and have handled many large volumes of scanning jobs. Using Xerox and OCE scanners we can scan your returned mail, your surveys and just about anything that needs to be imaged and indexed.

The scanned information can be supplied back to your clients. If required we can OCR capture the scanned materials and setup workflow systems to control decision making in your clients business. A good example of this is Accounts Payable linking to Purchase Orders and automated approval. We can integrate to all main Management Information Systems.

On top of this, we also offer the storage of the data and physical forms of your client.

Mechanical Insertion

Cheque-Mates have some of the most varied and state of the art mechanical insertion equipment in the market place. Fully intelligent dual channel processing is one of our many capabilities. We can mechanically insert up to C5 in size and can also inkjet online on the insertion equipment.

All of our mechanical insertion equipment is fully covered by preventative maintenance agreements to ensure all machines are running to their full potential at all times. With the ability to cover a full 24/7 operation, these wide and varied applications make Cheque-Mates the logical choice to meet your insertion requirements.

Hand fulfilment is one of our specialities and we have the capacity to meet all of your client’s needs. We have a specific designated fulfilment area to meet any possible request. Plastic Wrapping

Cheque-Mates operate a state of the art Sitma C80/750 Plastic Wrapping systems across all sites. Sitma is internationally recognized as the market leader in plastic wrapping. Our Sitma has five Onsert/Insert stations + a book shuttle feeder.

It's a bold claim to make that your product is the most successful in the world, but Sitma believes that, in the polywrapping market, it has just that. The C80/750 was launched in 1975 and, according to Richard Maclean, sales director at UK agent Integra International, the machine has built up a solid reputation.

It was the bread and butter machine of the polywrapping industry, he says. And plenty agreed, with more than 2,000 machines sold worldwide, 250 of those in the UK.

Sitma has a solid background in the market. The Italian family-owned business was founded in 1965 and its roots came from the packaging industry. It then branched out into envelope enclosing and inserting, stackers, feeders and bundle wrapping machines. Integra has been Sitma’s UK agent since 1969.

Originally, two versions of Sitma’s polywrapper were launched: the C80/750-I, which ran at speeds of 12,000 products per hour (pph); and the C80/750-0, capable of 15,000pph. While the 750-I that Cheque-Mates employ can produce a thicker pack, the 750-0 produced packs with a shorter height. Develop­ments over the years meant the machines benefited from updated controls, giving them a better optimisation of jobs.

In addition, many feeder options are available for sectors including newspapers, magazines, books and examination papers, with an unlimited number of feeders possible. Cheque - Mates SITMA fleet are all equipped with five hoppers plus a booklet feeder

It’s these developments, alongside its robustness, that have helped the C80/750 maintain its popularity in the market. Recently we have added online inkjetting to personalise directly onto flysheets and booklets.

Warehousing

Cheque-Mates use industry leading software to manage all stock lines. Our software partner is widely recognised as a market leader in stock management. We conduct stocktakes on a monthly basis.

On commencement of each job, all used stocks are booked out of our system and on completion the overs are weigh counted and re-booked into the system. This provides the most accurate management of stock levels. - “We manage your stock so you don’t have to”

Once a job has been completed you are notified of the remaining stock levels. We also perform Stock Re-Order Reports and email them on whatever frequency you require. This allows you to replenish stock levels, therefore running out of stock is no longer an issue.
