Environment

Cheque-Mates has always realised its social and environmental responsibilities. We will always endeavour to do everything in our powers to be environmentally friendly.

Cheque-Mates works with several organisations to ensure our waste is processed in the most environmentally friendly way. We recycle all of our plastic, general cardboard and paper. All empty toner and inkjet cartridges are also recycled. We even recycle our timber pallets and skids, when possible.

Did you know for every tonne of paper that is recycled approximately:

• 13 trees;
• 2.5 barrels of oil;
• 4100 Kwh of electricity;
• 4 Cubic metres of landfill; and,
• 31780 Litres of water are saved.

Cheque-Mates cares for the environment and will remain committed to ensuring efforts are up held for an environmentally cleaner and greener work place.

Training Update

Through constant training we have developed a high multi skilled team. A comprehensive training program is in place to continue to train our staff. Ongoing training is essential to provide the best service possible to our clients. The quest for a better skill set is a challenge accepted by all employees.

We are currently looking to double our internal skillsets by the end of 2008 via our cross training program.

New Equipment

Cheque-Mates are always investing in new technology to keep ahead of the pack. The latest addition of equipment is the state of the art Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital printer. The Xerox DocuColor 5000 has moved Cheque-Mates into the colour digital market. Along with our new finishing equipment we are able to offer a complete digital service.

Duplo 645

Cheque-Mates have installed the Duplo 645 (slitter/cutter/scorer). It is designed to allow the trimming and/or scoring of documents in either landscape or portrait. We are able to process various paper sizes up to SR A3. This system also allows business cards to be cut to size on a single pass.

Quality Assurance

Procedures and work instructions are continually being developed and updated. Our procedures will ensure that all our work will comply with your quality assurance systems. A full audit trail can be provided to ensure integrity of all completed works. All care and caution is used on all jobs to make sure all paper work is 100% correct.
